There is hereby created a separate fund on the books and records of the Village entitled "Home Maintenance Grant Fund." This Fund shall be maintained at a level as determined, from time to time, by the Council by appropriation of such sums, from sources other than general property tax funds, as may be determined by Council. Such funds shall be used exclusively for the Home Maintenance Grant Program created by this chapter. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this section to the Bureau of Inspection and Supervision of Public Offices of the Auditor of State of Ohio for approval of the funds under the provisions of Ohio R.C. 5705.12.
