(a) The Village hereby establishes the position of full-time Residential Building Inspector, effective as of the third day of January, 2011. The full-time Residential Building Inspector shall work 40 hours per week.
(b) Compensation for the position of Full-Time Residential Building Inspector shall be as established by Council on an annual basis pursuant to its budget processes.
(c) The full-time Residential Building Inspector shall be appointed annually by the Mayor at the first meeting of Council in each year, such appointment being subject to confirmation by Council, and shall serve until the first Council meeting in the succeeding year. At the first Council meeting of the succeeding year, the Mayor may re-appoint the same individual or may appoint a different individual to serve as Residential Building Inspector, in either case such appointment being subject to confirmation by Council.
