It is hereby declared to be a nuisance to permit any parcel of real property within the Village to become infested with rodents.
Whoever being the owner or person in possession of a parcel of real property within the limits of the Village, permits such parcel of real property to become infested with rodents shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be subject to the penalties hereinafter provided.
Whoever violates any provision of this section shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00) or imprisoned for not more than sixty days or both. Each day a violation continues or occurs shall constitute a separate offense.
