1345.05 PLANTING OF TREES IN PUBLIC PLACES.
   No tree, ornamental plant or shrub shall be planted on any public street or ground within the Village except by persons employed by the Village for that purpose, or with and in conformance to the written permission of the Service Director, who shall grant such permission only if he finds that the proposed planting will not interfere with the appropriate public use of the street or ground and is consistent with any plan of planting in effect or proposed thereon. Such permission shall specify the manner in which the planting shall be done and the type of tree, plant or shrub proposed to be planted in order to insure proper consistency and lack of interference and to promote the proper growth of the tree, plant or shrub proposed to be planted.
