1305.01 ADOPTION; CONFLICT.
   (a)    The Village hereby approves and adopts the current edition of the National Electric Code (NFP A Volume 70), as approved by the American Standards Association and listed in the Ohio Building Code, together with all amendments, supplements and interpretations of such codes, and any additions or amendments as may be hereinafter adopted and promulgated, which shall be applicable to all residential and commercial structures within the Village and which shall be prima facie evidence of the most recently approved methods.
   (b)    No certificate of inspection shall be issued unless the electric light, power and heating installations are in strict conformity with the provisions of this chapter, the Ohio statutes, the rules and regulations issued by the Industrial Commission of Ohio under authority of the State statutes, and are in conformity with the most recently approved methods of construction for safety to life and property.
   (c)    In case of conflict between any provision of the National Electric Code and any other Village ordinance or municipal technical code, the more restrictive provision shall be controlling.
