149.01 PERSONNEL POLICY.
   (a)   The Personnel Policy governing the terms of employment for the Village of Newburgh Heights as delineated in Exhibit “A” attached to original Ordinance 2013-16 and made a part hereof as if fully rewritten herein.
   (b)   All prior Personnel Policy ordinances and amendments thereto are hereby repealed.
   (c)   The policies provided by the Personnel Policy are not be construed as an employment contract, but are intended to guide the Village and its employees in expectations regarding the employer-employee relationship.
   (d)   Additions and modifications to the Personnel Policy may be made by motion, and passage shall be by a majority affirmative vote of the Village Council. Notice of the addition or modification of the Personnel Policy shall be served in writing to the employees employed at the time of passage. Upon service in writing to said employees, the addition or modification of the Personnel Policy shall be effective upon said employees and all subsequently employed personnel.
