§ 150.036 WINDOWS/VENTILATION.
   Lighting, heating and ventilation requirements: no person shall occupy as owner-occupant or let to another for occupancy any dwelling, dwelling unit or apartment for the purpose of living therein which does not comply with the following requirements. Every apartment, dwelling or dwelling unit shall have adequate natural lighting, and sufficient ventilation in all habitable rooms including bathrooms in accord with the acceptable standards of the respective coded of the Administrative Building Council of the state; provided, however, that the Building Commissioner may relax and vary the natural lighting requirements where the requirements of lighting are unreasonable, unnecessary and would cause undue hardship on the owner.
