§ 92.03 EXCEPTIONS TO PROHIBITION ON OPEN BURNING.
   (A)   Open burning of wood products, except for leaves, shall be allowed for the following:
      (1)   Twelfth Night ceremonies;
      (2)   School pep rallies;
      (3)   Fires used for cooking purposes;
      (4)   Riverbank campfires;
      (5)   Fires used in scouting activities;
      (6)   Fires for purposes of fire training by a Fire Department;
      (7)   Riverbank driftwood burning; and
      (8)   Upon permit from the Town Council.
   (B)   Open burning of non-wood products shall only be allowed pursuant to a permit issued by the Indiana Air Pollution Control Board, Indiana Department of Environmental Management and a permit issued by the town.
   (C)   Otherwise non-permitted open burning may be allowed by special permit issued by the Town Council upon conditions established by the Council and the payment of a special permit fee not to exceed $150 by the applicant.
