§ 70.01 WORDS AND PHRASES.
   (A)   Generally. For the purpose of this title, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      COMMERCIAL VEHICLE. As referred to in this chapter shall not be deemed to include school buses which are specifically excluded from the purview of this title.
      PROHIBITED VEHICLE. Any vehicle, except police, fire or other safety vehicle or school bus, that has a gross vehicle weight in excess of 11,000 pounds except that vehicles designed primarily for the carriage of passengers shall not be defined as a PROHIBITED VEHICLE.
   (B)   Definitions of words and phrases.
      (1)   The following words and phrases when used in this title shall, for the purpose of this title, have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in the Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways of Indiana:
         (a)   Bicycle;
         (b)   Business District;
         (c)   Crosswalk;
         (d)   Driver;
         (e)   Motor vehicle;
         (f)   Official traffic-control devices;
         (g)   Pedestrian;
         (h)   Person;
         (i)   Police officer;
         (j)   Private road or driveway;
         (k)   Right-of-way;
         (l)   Roadway;
         (m)   Street or highway;
         (n)   Through highway;
         (o)   Traffic;
         (p)   Truck; and
         (q)   Vehicle
      (2)   The following words or phrases when used in this title shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section.
         BOARD. The Town Council of the Town of Newburgh, Indiana.
         PARK. When prohibited means the standing of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, otherwise than temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading.
         STOP. When required means complete cessation of movement.
