All public works contracts entered into or renewed after June 30, 2011 will contain provisions requiring the contractor to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all newly-hired employees. The contracts will also require that an affidavit be signed stating that the contractor does not knowingly employ any unauthorized aliens.
