§ 35.018 PURCHASES MORE THAN $50,000.
   Pursuant to I.C. 5-22-8, if the value of the supplies to be purchased exceeds $50,000, but does not exceed $150,000 and no other statutory exemption which allows the purchase without quotes applies, the purchasing agent shall:
   (A)   Invite three quotes from person, firms or corporations known to deal in such supplies;
   (B)   Make such invitation by mailing the invitation to such person, firm or corporation not less than seven days before the date set in such invitation to receive such quotes; and
   (C)   Award the purchase to the lowest responsible and responsive offeror; as defined by I.C. 5-22-16 for the line or class of supplies sought.
