§ 154.02 STRUCTURES OF HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE DESIGNATED.
   The following identified buildings and structures are hereby designated as structures of historical significance for purposes of R.C. § 3735.65 (D):
   (A)   14 West Monroe Street. Built circa 1915 by Emil and Frank Laut. New Bremen's first basketball teams played their games at this location. The building was also a local nightspot. The building features a hand hammered metal ceiling.
   (B)   18 West Monroe Street. German canal warehouse style. Prime location in downtown New Bremen due to proximity to the Miami-Erie Canal.
   (C)   102 West Monroe Street. Queen Ann design built in 1897. Site of Henry Schwaberow's general store, which was key to development of downtown New Bremen.
   (D)   112 West Monroe Street. Two-story canal house built in 1873 by New Bremen founder, Charles Boesel. Architecturally significant because of the unique gable ends that face the street and full arch windows.
   (E)   116 West Monroe Street.
      (1)   Italian Villa style.
      (2)   Built by State Legislator Jacob Boesel in 1876.
      (3)   Later owned by E.G. Conradi, owner of The New Bremen Sun.
   (F)   120 West Monroe Street.
      (1)   The First Bank Building.
      (2)   Constructed by the Honorable Charles Boesel, Mayor, in 1866.
   (G)   124 West Monroe Street.
      (1)   Constructed during the Civil War.
      (2)   Original site of Boesel and Kunning Dry Good Store.
      (3)   Also site of Mueller Brothers Clothing Store.
   (H)   120 North Main.
      (1)   New Bremen Historic Association.
      (2)   The location is on the National Register of Historic Places.
   (I)   123 North Main Street—German Township Administration Building. Former New Bremen Mayor, William Bruns operated a marble cutting business at this location.
   (J)   20 South Washington Street. First fire department in New Bremen. Site dedicated in 1897.
   (K)   34 South Washington Street. Constructed during the peak of the canal era in New Bremen.
   (L)   40 South Washington Street. Site of the Arcade Department Store. At one time the Arcade was the largest department store between Toledo and Cincinnati. In the 1950's, the first Crown lift truck was constructed at this location.
   (M)   44 South Washington Street Crown Headquarters Building. Unique architectural styling.
   (N)   204 South Washington Street. Unique architectural styling.
   (O)   206 South Washington. B.F. Schroeder operated a private hospital at this location in the early 1880s.
   (P)   104 Plum Street Pioneer Cabin. Restored from logs and floor plans from second oldest cabin in Mercer County. Example of shelter used by earliest settlers to the area during the 1830s.
   (Q)   Lock One North.
      (1)   One of 108 locks that operated on the Miami-Erie Canal.
      (2)   Application for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places has been submitted to the Department of the Interior.
