(A) No building or other structure shall be erected, moved, added to, or structurally altered; nor shall any building, structure or land use be established or changed; nor shall any accessory structure, sign, fence or swimming pool be installed without a permit issued by the Zoning Administrator. Building/zoning permits shall be issued only in conformity with the provisions of this zoning code unless the Zoning Administrator receives a written order from the Board of Zoning Appeals deciding an appeal, conditional use, or variance, or from Village Council, approving a planned unit development district, as provided by this zoning code.
(B) Repair and maintenance of existing structures, including window replacement, siding replacement, and exterior painting shall be exempt from this requirement, provided the footprint of the original structure is not changed in any way.
(C) In addition, tents with fabric surfaces are exempt, provided the tent is not in place for over 90 days.
