§ 76.10 PARKING OF TRAILERS ON PUBLIC STREETS AND MUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS.
   (A)   No person shall stop or leave standing any trailer upon the public streets or alleys within the village or upon any municipal parking lot within the village for a period in excess of 24 hours.
   (B)   No person who has parked a trailer upon the public streets or alleys of the village or in a village municipal parking lot must wait 48 hours before they may stop, park or leave standing a trailer on the same street or alley or municipal parking lot within the village, unless they have received a trailer parking permit, pursuant to division (D) of this section.
   (C)   TRAILER shall be defined pursuant to R.C. § 4501.01(M) as presently enacted or as hereafter amended.
   (D)   Trailer parking permits.
      (1)   Any person who desires to park a trailer upon a public street or alley within the village or upon a municipal parking lot within the village for a period of time exceeding 24 hours must first obtain a trailer parking permit from the Village Police Chief or his or her designee.
      (2)   The Police Chief or his or her designee may issue the trailer parking permit for a set time period at a charge of $5 for each day the permit is to be in effect.
      (3)   The issuance of the trailer parking permit in each case shall be at the discretion of the Police Chief, who may consider forecast weather condition, scheduled events, or any other factor which he or she feels may be pertinent in deciding whether or not to issue the permit.
      (4)   The trailer parking permit shall be on a form prepared by the Police Chief and approved by the Village Solicitor and shall contain: (1) the location the trailer is to be parked; (2) the name and address of the person who is responsible to move the trailer in case of emergency; and (3) the telephone numbers where the person responsible for moving the trailer may be reached during all times the trailer parking permit is in effect.
   (E)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Each day the violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
