As used in this chapter, the following terms shall be defined as follows:
VILLAGE.
The Village of New Bremen, Ohio.
COUNCIL.
The Village of New Bremen, Village Council.
UTILITY.
The Village of New Bremen Utilities of the Village of New Bremen, Ohio.
SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE.
The Village Administrator.
CUSTOMER.
An individual, partnership, corporation, or other legal entity receiving one class of service through one meter at one structure at one location, subject to the regulations in this chapter.
LANDLORD/CUSTOMER.
The owner of the structure and/or location where a customer is taking service, if the owner is different from the end user of service and the owner is responsible for payment of the electric bill for the structure and/or location.
RENTAL CUSTOMER.
An individual, partnership, corporation, or other legal entity receiving one class of service, where that customer rents the property from a landlord/customer who owns that property where service is provided.
MONTH
. The elapsed time between two successive meter readings, approximately 30 days apart.
