§ 40.01 PURPOSE.

To provide funds for the purposes of construction, maintaining, operating, and acquiring of capital improvements, including street drainage and for general municipal operations in the village, there shall be and hereby is levied a tax on salaries, wages, commissions, and other compensation and on net profits as hereinafter provided.
