§ 39.06 TREE SURVEYS; MASTER STREET TREE PLAN.
   (A)   The Commission shall have the authority and it shall be its duty to prepare a Tree Planting, Maintenance, and Removal Ordinance within six months after the establishment of the Tree Commission and to submit to Council for approval and adoption. This ordinance shall be reviewed yearly thereafter and the Tree Commission will submit amendments as needed to Council.
   (B)   The Commission shall have the authority and it shall be its duty to conduct tree surveys and prepare a Master Street Tree Plan for all trees in or upon all public streets, avenues, highways, parks, alleys and other public places which, in its opinion, effectuate the provisions of this subchapter. Such Plan shall not become effective until approved by Council.
