(A) A charge of $25 will be levied against any account for which a check or negotiable instrument given in payment or satisfaction of an obligation to the village or to New Bremen Utilities or to the Police Department or to any other village supporting department has been dishonored.
(B) This section is in no manner intended to waive, repeal, modify or alter the rights of the village to pursue criminal sanctions against the maker of any dishonored check under the provisions of § 131.12 of the village code and R.C. § 2913.11.
