(A) The position of Economic Development Director is hereby created as a permanent part-time position. The Economic Development Director will have the job duties as described in Exhibit A attached to Ordinance 2005-8-31, as well as being a permanent member of the Community Improvement Corporation of New Bremen, Inc., the Village's designated CIC under R.C. § 1724.10, relieving the Mayor of that responsibility. The Economic Development Director shall have a pay range classification between $12.00 per hour and $16.00 per hour and will serve under the supervision of the Village Administrator.
(B) The Economic Development Director shall be appointed by the Mayor but that appointment does not become effective until it is approved by a majority vote of the Village Council.
(C) The Economic Development Director may be removed without cause, either by the Mayor with the consent of the majority of the members of the Village Council, or by a three-fourths vote of the Village Council without the consent of the Mayor.
