It is the intent of Newberry County Council to replace the provision of the existing county noise control ordinance, Ordinance No. 197, with the provisions of §§ 90.01 et seq., and to provide reasonable and practicable standards for the control of noise in the unincorporated areas of Newberry County, and the penalties for violations of §§ 90.01 et seq. Any duly commissioned law enforcement officer or duly authorized Code Enforcement Officer may make a charge for a violation of §§ 90.01 et seq., if he or she has probable cause to do so, regardless of whether or not a complaint from a citizen or resident has been made.
