§ 90.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of §§ 90.01 et seq., the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   EXCESSIVE NOISE. Any noise prohibited by §§ 90.03, 90.04, or 90.05.
   IMMEDIATE VICINITY. Close enough to a source of the noise to perceive the noise and be materially affected by it.
   RESIDENTIAL AREAS. Areas of the county containing single-family and multi-family dwellings which include houses, apartments, condominium projects, mobile homes and mobile home parks, and specifically includes those areas zoned RS-1, RS-2, RS-3, RS-4, RG, and those portions of areas zoned R-2, which are within 500 feet of the aforementioned types of structures. This term also includes areas wherein are located dwelling units, such as vacation homes or cabins, which are not typically occupied as a primary residence. RESIDENTIAL AREAS are also considered to be NOISE-SENSITIVE AREAS.
