§ 32.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   APPOINTMENT. All means of selection, promotion, appointment, or employment as to any person holding any office, place, or position of employment in the classified service of the city.
   BOARD. The Personnel Board of the city, as established in § 30.03.
   MEMBER. A member of the Personnel Board.
   PERSONNEL DIRECTOR. The City Manager.
