(A) Assuring the permanent preservation of open space, agricultural lands, and other natural resources;
(B) Allowing innovation and greater flexibility in the design of residential developments; and
(C) Encouraging a less sprawling form of development, thus preserving open space. For the purpose of this chapter, the term OPEN SPACE shall refer to a natural state preserving natural resources, natural features, or scenic or wooded conditions; agriculture use; or a similar use or condition.
