If any section or part of a section of this chapter is held to be invalid for any reason, such invalidity shall not be held to impair or invalidate this chapter in its entirety, it being the legislative intent that every chapter or part thereof shall remain in force and in effect notwithstanding any invalidity of any particular provision or provisions.
