All proposed road names shall be reviewed and approved by the Planning Commission and the City Council and cleared through the county’s Road Commission, prior to approval of the preliminary plat. Names shall be sufficiently different in sound and in spelling from other road names in the local area so as not to cause confusion. A road which is or is planned as a continuation of an existing road shall bear the same name.
