From the effective date of the budget, the amount stated therein to be raised by property tax shall constitute a determination of the amount of the levy for the purposes of the City. Two copies of the budget as finally adopted and certified as hereinafter provided shall be filed with the City Assessor, who shall file one copy with the Board of Supervisors of Marquette County.
