We, the People of the City of Negaunee, in the County of Marquette and State of Michigan, in accordance with the authority granted unto us by the Constitution of the State of the laws thereof, in order that the benefits of efficient self-government maybe guaranteed to our citizens and to provide for the necessary and proper administration of Municipal affairs, do hereby adopt and establish this Charter.
