8-1-2: ASSAULT AND BATTERY, FIGHTING:
It shall be unlawful for any person to:
   A.   Commit an assault or an assault and battery on the person of another within the City.
   B.   Challenge another to fight or threaten or traduce or use abusive language toward another, or indulge in any other conduct toward another calculated to provoke a disturbance of the peace. (Ord. XVII, 9-25-1899; amd. Ord. 190, 4-6-1925; 1989 Code)
