6-2-1: DESTRUCTION TO HISTORICAL BUILDINGS RESTRICTED:
No person shall raze, demolish, materially alter, or otherwise destroy any building or part of a building located within the city, which has been in existence seventy five (75) years or more, without first receiving a permit therefor from the city council. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall pay a fine or penalty of not less than twenty five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00), the same to be recovered before the city clerk or treasurer.
