A. Each operator of a bed and breakfast establishment or a guest house/suite who applies for a required license shall pay a license fee of sixty dollars ($60.00) if the premises contains one or two (2) buildings. If the premises contains more than two (2) buildings, the applicant must pay ten dollars ($10.00) for each additional unit, up to a maximum of one hundred dollars ($100.00). This fee will cover the cost of the annual inspection and one reinspection, if required. If the establishment does not pass on the first reinspection, an additional fifty dollars ($50.00) will be charged for each subsequent reinspection until compliance.
B. Before March 1 of each year, each licensee who wishes to renew its business license for the next fiscal year beginning May 1 shall pay an annual license fee of sixty dollars ($60.00). After payment of the annual fee, and before May 1, the licensee shall submit a current certificate of insurance and meet the inspection requirements. Payments made after May 10 will be assessed a twenty five dollar ($25.00) late penalty. (Ord. 2012-5, 12-11-2012)
