The operator of a bed and breakfast establishment or a guest house/suite is required to maintain a general liability insurance policy with limits of at least five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) covering its establishment and to provide the city with a certificate of insurance. If there is any change in insurance status during the license period, the operator of that establishment shall immediately notify the city, in writing, of the change and shall provide a copy of the new insurance certificate.
