A. Hours Of Sale:
1. It shall be unlawful to sell or offer for sale at retail any alcoholic liquor within the city between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight and five o'clock (5:00) A.M. of any day other than Sunday, and between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight and ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. on Sunday for packaged liquor and between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight and eleven o'clock (11:00) A.M. on Sunday for liquor by the drink. The sale of alcoholic liquor at retail by licensees in the city on Sunday, in strict pursuance of the conditions and restrictions in this chapter contained, is hereby expressed. 2. On New Year's Eve, alcoholic liquors may be sold at retail until two o'clock (2:00) A.M. the following morning.
3. There shall be no consumption of alcoholic liquor on any portion of the licensed premises after thirty (30) minutes from the time of closing as hereinabove stated. (Ord. 1994-3, 8-9-1994)
B. License Displayed: Every license shall be hung in plain view in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises.
C. Sales On Credit: No person shall sell or offer to sell any alcoholic liquor at retail on credit or on a passbook or in exchange for any goods, wares, merchandise or for services rendered or services to be rendered.
D. Duplicate Licenses: No license shall be issued for the same premises where a license of either class has been issued and is in force.
E. Hindrance Of View: No curtain, screen or other contrivance shall be permitted in or near windows or doors which hinder or prevent a clear view of the interior of any licensed premises from the street at all times.
F. First, Ground Floor: No license shall be issued for the sale of alcoholic liquor as herein provided, except in a room or rooms adjacent to a public street that is on the first or ground floor thereof.
G. Minor; Drunkard: It shall be unlawful within the city to sell or deliver any alcoholic liquor to any minor, drunkard or incompetent person.
H. Licensed Premises Only: It shall be unlawful to sell or offer for sale by any licensee, licensed under this chapter, any intoxicating liquor except on the premises described in such license. (Ord. 228, 3-5-1934; amd. 1991)
