It shall be the duty of the city clerk by notice in writing to notify all persons whose licenses have expired or who are required to procure a license for their business, occupation or pursuit and are acting without a license. Such notice shall be given by the clerk immediately upon the expiration of any license or as soon as the fact that any person is acting without license shall come to the clerk's knowledge. The notice shall be served by the city marshal and may be left at the residence or place of business of the person notified. (Ord. 2002-6, 9-10-2002)
