(A) Office created. There is created the Office of City Attorney.

(B) Appointed by Mayor. The City Attorney shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council.

(C) Term. The term of the Office of City Attorney shall be four years and shall run concurrently with the term of the Mayor.

(D) Legal advisor. The City Attorney shall act as the legal advisor of the city in all matters pertaining to the city.
