A license application fee of $100 is imposed upon any person wishing to conduct business as a transient merchant or itinerant vendor within the city under the provisions of the Transient Merchant Act of 1987 (225 ILCS 465/4 through 465/8). A copy of the Transient Merchant Act of 1987 may be obtained at the office of the Chief of Police.
