§ 50.045 TAPPING SLEEVES AND VALVES.

(A) Tapping sleeves and valves shall be provided where new connections to existing city mains are made. The sleeve and valve shall be at least as large as the city main being tapped.

(B) The plug removed from the city main being tapped shall be tagged and turned over to the Water Superintendent. The tag shall bear the following information: date; contractor; size of main being tapped; and location of tap.
