(EDITOR'S NOTE: See Section 303.99 for general Traffic Code penalty and penalties applicable to misdemeanor classifications.)
(a) Whoever violates any portion of Section 375.02 shall be fined not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for a first offense; for each subsequent offense within one year of a first offense such person shall be fined not less than fifteen dollars ($15.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) or imprisoned not more than three days, or both; whoever violates any provision of Section 375.03 or 375.05 shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not less than three nor more than thirty days, or both; whoever violates Section 375.07 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable by a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) and a term of imprisonment not to exceed six months.
(b) In addition to the penalties provided in this chapter, a court may prohibit any person who violates or fails to comply with any provision of this chapter from operating a snowmobile or all purpose vehicle for not more than six months.
