(A) Generally. It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in or carry on any business, trade, profession or calling for the transaction or carrying on for which a license is required, without first taking out or procuring the license herein required for such business, profession, trade or calling. No work may be performed within the city limits to generate income over an annual amount, which annual amount shall be set from time to time by resolution of the City Council, unless or until obtaining such business license.
(B) Vendors. All vendors doing business with the merchants of the city, on a regular basis, within the limits of the city, shall be required to obtain a license to do business in the city; the amount of the license fee to be set by resolution by the City Council.
