It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in or carry on any business on any street, alley or sidewalk or in or from any automobile, vehicle, stand or structure located in or upon the streets, alleys or sidewalks of the city; provided, however, this section shall not prohibit any business or occupation licensed or permitted under the ordinances of the city. This section does not pertain to an occasional yard sale or holiday concession stand, which is permitted by the city without license.
