(A) Where posted, parking shall be permitted within city alleys for periods not to exceed ten consecutive minutes for retail purposes provided such parking does not directly obstruct driveways or garage entrances. Signs shall be installed at the business owner’s expense and shall conform to city standards regarding signs.
(B) Parking or standing vehicles within city alleys for periods not to exceed 30 consecutive minutes shall be permitted for the expeditious loading or unloading of vehicles. Under no circumstance shall parking or standing a vehicle in a city alley be permitted for a period in excess of 30 consecutive minutes. Vehicles found to be in violation of these provisions shall be towed at owner’s expense in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 74.
