The annual fee for an Adult Oriented Business permit is six hundred forty dollars ($640.00). This annual fee payment shall be in lieu of the regular occupational license fee charged by the city and said fee is charged to offset the city's expenses in exercising its police and regulatory powers involving adult entertainment.
