(A) The Street Department shall order the installation of official traffic control devices, when and as required under the traffic ordinances and regulations of the City to make effective the provisions of the ordinances and regulations, and may order the installation of such additional official traffic control devices and markings as deemed necessary to regulate, warn or guide traffic under the traffic ordinances of the City, State Vehicle Code or state Law.
(B) The Street Department shall install and maintain all traffic control devices and such devices shall conform to the standards prescribed under state law. (Reference KRS 189.337 and 630 KAR 5:050. Uniform Traffic Control Devices).
