§ 51.05 LICENSING.
   (A)   No company representative, homeowner, or other technician or installer may design, assemble, install, alter, test, repair, operate or perform maintenance or installation of any gas piping or appliance without possessing either a state master HVAC license or state master plumber license (licensed gas professional) and having appropriate insurance and licensing information on file with Murray Natural Gas System on Andrus Drive.
   (B)   Every certified and licensed master HVAC technician and licensed and certified master plumber (licensed gas professional) shall carry a minimum of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) in liability insurance and a minimum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) in property damage insurance.
   (C)   Murray Natural Gas System shall not be liable for any accident, accidental injury or damages to any real and/or personal property which may result from any defect or failure of any gas piping, manufacturer's equipment, appliances, and/or related accessories or fixtures or from any leakage or other defect on any installation, construction, maintenance, alteration or repair performed by the customer or his or her selected licensed gas professional or from any other service or action taken by the gas professional or customer that occurs on customer's piping and appliances as defined herein.
   (D)   Any time the licensed gas professional's licensure is suspended or revoked or any time the licensed gas professional fails to renew his or her license and fails to notify Murray Natural Gas, such activity shall subject the licensed gas professional to a civil penalty of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) for each such offense, which may be recovered in a civil action in the nature of debt if the offender does not pay the penalty within the time period prescribed by the Code Enforcement Officer or the Code Enforcement Board, should the offender request a hearing.
