§ 50.11 TERMINATION OR TRANSFER OF SERVICE CONTRACT.
   A customer who requests that service be terminated or transferred from one address to another shall give MMU a minimum of three (3) working days' notice in person, in writing, or by telephone if no contractual obligations are violated. The customer shall not be responsible for charges for service beyond the three (3) day notice period if the customer provides access to the meter during the notice period. If the customer notifies MMU of his or her request for termination of services, the customer has the burden to prove that service termination was requested if a dispute arises. Notice to discontinue service prior to the expiration of the contract term will not relieve the customer from any minimum or guaranteed payment specified by the contract.
