§ 50.10 RIGHT OF ACCESS.
   (A)   Murray Municipal Utilities' identified employees shall have reasonable access to the customer's premises including access to meters, service connections, and other property owned by MMU and located on customer's premises, for the purposes of installation, maintenance, meter reading, testing, repairing, operation, exchanging, replacement or removal of any or all equipment belonging to the Utilities. An employee of MMU whose duties require him or her to enter the customer's premises shall provide an appropriate badge or other appropriate identification that signifies his or her employment with MMU.
   (B)   Customers who maintain dogs or other animals on the property where the meter is located and the MMU employee must read the meter, shall keep such animals in a designated place away from the meter or shall have physical control of the animals when the MMU employee reads the meter. If the MMU employee is unable to read the meter for three (3) consecutive months, after warning to the customer, written notice shall be given and the utility service shall be disconnected and the customer shall pay a reconnect fee to have service reconnected to his or her property.
