(A) If service has been discontinued by Murray Municipal Utilities for nonpayment of a bill or inability to read the meter due to animals hazardous to the MMU employee, a charge of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per utility service must be paid by to MMU by the customer before 3:00 p.m. for service to be reconnected on the date the fee is paid, otherwise, service may not be restored until the next business day.
(B) If service is disconnected due to tampering with metering equipment or intentional destruction of metering equipment, a civil fine as set forth in § 50.99 may be levied, in addition to the actual cost of repair, to include labor, supplies and equipment, a reconnection fee shall be collected before service is restored plus a fifteen percent (15%) administrative fee charge.
(C) A fifty-dollar ($50.00) reconnect fee shall be charged for gas customers who request continuance of gas service after voluntarily having service discontinued during non-heating months.
