(A) Contractors or individuals will be required to pay the following meter deposit with their application for a meter on a fire hydrant:

1 inch | $400 |
2 inch | $1,000 |
(B) Contractors or individuals will be required to sign an agreement and remit a $35 installation fee. Only Public Works employees will install and remove the meter from the fire hydrant to ensure proper installation and proper removal.
(C) Any company or individual violating this section shall become liable to the city for any expenses, loss, or damage, by reason of such violation.
