§ 50.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person found to be violating any provision of this chapter except § 50.002 shall be served by the city with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in the notice, permanently cease all violations.
   (B)   Any user violating any of the provisions of this chapter or a wastewater permit order issued hereunder, may be subject to termination of its authority to discharge sewage into the municipal sewer system. Such termination may be immediate if necessary. Said user may also have its water service terminated.
   (C)   Notice as required by this chapter shall be sufficient if:
      (1)   Mailed by certified mail, return receipt requested;
      (2)   Hand delivered by the Mt. Washington City Utility Superintendent or his or her designee;
      (3)   Hand delivered by a Mt. Washington City Police Officer;
      (4)   Notice to a school shall be to the Principal of that school; or
      (5)   Notice to all others shall be to the person listed as the owner of the business on their business license obtained from the City of Mt. Washington at the address given for that license.
   (D)   Any person, business or school who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided in division (A) of this section shall be subject to a fine pursuant to § 10.99 of this Code of Ordinances.
   (E)   Any user who violates the conditions of this chapter, or applicable state and federal regulations is subject to having his or her access to the city sewer system and water service revoked for violation of this chapter as set forth above in addition to other state and federal penalties for refusal of reasonable access to the user’s premises for the purpose of inspection or monitoring.
   (F)   Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall become liable to the city for any expense, loss, or damage.
