§ 50.136 BILLING PROCEDURE; DELINQUENT PAYMENTS.
   (A)   The rates and charges for both water service and sewer service shall be billed in the aggregate monthly on the same billing of utility bills for service within the Mt. Washington water service area and shall be mailed on the last working day of each month and are due on the fifteenth day of the following month.
   (B)   Bills and notices relating to the conduct of the business of the Mt. Washington Water Company will be delivered to the customer at the address and telephone number provided on the application for service unless a change of address or telephone number has been updated with the Mt. Washington Water Company. The Mt. Washington Water Company shall not otherwise be responsible for delivery of any bill or notice nor will the customer be excused from the payment of any bill or any performance required in the notice.
   (C)   Bills for water and sewer service and trash collection are due and payable at City Hall and Water Company, on their due date.
   (D)   If any bill is not paid when due, a delinquency penalty of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bill shall attach and be payable in addition to the amount of the bill. Bills for water and sewer service and/or trash collection furnished to the same premises shall be billed, collected, and enforced together. If any bill is not paid within fifteen (15) days after the date it is due, the Public Works Director or other officer or agent of the Mt. Washington Water Company in charge of the operation of the municipal waterworks system shall proceed to discontinue or shut off the utility service to the premises served in accordance with § 50.137 until the entire delinquent amount and service charges are paid in full.
   (E)   Service charges are as follows:
      (1)   Seventy-five dollars ($75.00) due upon restoring service during regular business hours; and
      (2)   Additional fifty dollars ($50.00) after 4:30 p.m. to restore services;
      (3)   Additional one hundred dollars ($100.00) after 8:00 p.m. to restore services.
   (F)   If a deadline date falls on a weekend or legal holiday, the deadline shall not expire until the next succeeding regular workday.
