Neither submission of a plan under the provisions of these regulations, nor compliance with provisions of these regulations, shall relieve any person or other entity from responsibility for damage to any person or property otherwise imposed by law; nor shall it create a duty by the City or by the City Engineer to those damaged by soil sediment pollution, flooding, impaired drainage systems and the like.
By approving a Stormwater Management Plan under this regulation, the City of Mount Vernon does not accept responsibility for the design, installation and operation and maintenance of BMPs (SCMs). (Ord. 2019-35. Passed 11-12-19.)
